Grandad's Nuts began with a 13 year old's entrepreneurial idea. After moving from Guyana to Canada, Braedon's grandfather missed the roadside-style peanuts he remembered from home. Unable to find peanuts that tasted the way he remembered, he decided to learn how to make them himself. Through practice and small batches, he perfected his own recipe and soon family and friends were always asking for more.
In November 2014, while on one of the Saturday morning drives he took with his mom and sister, 13-year-old Braedon had an idea. He had noticed how much people loved his Grandad's peanuts, which were always given away for free, and saw an opportunity to turn them into a product people could purchase as gifts and enjoy for themselves.
